Bloody Petrol prices

£2 a litre by end of the year?? crazy or realm of possibility??
I would love the oil industry to come under price fixing and monopoly leglislation. Sadly it would never be enforced. As people have said the price of crude has gone up then dropped massively yet it wasnt passed on to customers. any sector other than fuels/utilities and they would be massively fined for doing that.

I remember when i started driving it was 72p a litre!!!!!
Yesterday I was on the A34 and had to stop for petrol as was not going to finish my journey otherwise, and it was 130.9 a litre!!! I couldn't believe my eyes when I see it, as over my side of the country when I was back here last night, it was 124.9!

I remember my dad filling our car for £0.70 a gallon!
It's just daylight robbery now. I have to do about 400 miles a week commuting, I don't have any choice and I don't get anything for it, it all comes out of my pocket. Complete ripoff.

Just filled up (diesel) at 128.9 and that's the cheapest I can find round here. Doubtless tomorrow it'll go up by 4p a litre....thieving wankers. Legalised robbery is all you can call it.

The trouble is when fuel goes up so does food and everything else we buy, think what a few pence rise in fuel cost people like Eddie Stowebart extra a year.

Very true, they know we have to have it and they know us british wont say a word about it so it wont be long before its £2.00 a liter and we will all smile as we had over the cash.

all this talk about protests is bollocks. wont happen. since the last fuel strikes anything like this against oil companies is considered terrorism the lorry drivers wont do it, us the public wont do it so who does that leave???
the government dont care either. remember higher prices mean more revenue.
