Hi all,
I recently collected my new Ford Fiesta - all seems well, except the service history doesn't have a PDI stamp. I forgot to check this at the time.
I've phoned the dealer to enquire and he gave me a spiel about how he'd worked there for 9 years and had never stamped that page before.
Is it worth making a fuss about? What might be the harm in having the PDI stamp missing?

What a tosser, tell him that regardless of his experience, it is your car and you want it stamped as proof that an inspection has been carried out.
IMO, its no different to having a stamp to prove that a service has been carried out and to be honest if he can't manage to do that for you, then politely ask for a telephone number for Ford UK to discuss this issue with them.
Cheers,
Grant

Ditto, I cant recall seeing any place to stamp it for a PDI, we fill in the checksheet we get off of ETIS but dont stamp the book, in any case most of the bookpacks are removed by the salesmen when we PDI so no book to stamp.
You could ask for a copy of the PDI sheet from the dealer, they will keep this.
Also the body and paint check parts of the book arent stamped if there is damage to a panel, like stone chips etc and will be marked on the checksheet you should get when you collect the car after its service.
