yy07 xgu is a 2007 PEUGEOT 207 1.4 16V S 5dr [AC] Hatchback mjo7pgk is a Peugeot 207 S Hdi 67 (5 Door Hatchback),

well the car i bought my miss,s, the add shows the car as mjo7 reg, but when i asked for car reg to insure it, dealer tells me the yy07 reg which im finding odd the car is a 07 5door 16v silver petrol 207

The dealer probably used the same picture to advertise two different cars.

+1,pretty common practice.if you look at the age of the car the dealers probably had a load just come in on a fleet sale as they're usually returned after 3 years,should have been pretty well serviced if that was the case.
