In regard to the post, there both crazy motors and you wont go wrong with either, it's all about your preferences...
IMO, I'd have the 3 door just for rarity on the road, and they look so sweet sitting on some split bbs rims =D

Yeah he obviuosly sorted it via Compomotive, tbh i can't recall the difference now Martyn....wasn't huge anyway.
Yours don't look too bad cus the offset looks pretty good, mine sat too far in the arch and looked horrid...

500hp 3 door is the way to go lol!
being serious very hard decision both cracking cars my mate has a escos and its looks the bollocks!!
3 doors dont handle the best i find at speed your fighting to keep it in a striaght line unlike my 2wd sapp which handles 100 times better in truth lol

If you want the best allround cossie for looks handling and every day drivability then get a really nice escos and then do a 2wd conversion!!!!the ultimate cossie imo..
Mind you if your a pussy and cant drive rear wheel drive then your fucked and will need gay wheel drive!!!so still an escos..lol

2wd big spec escort cosworths are for people who don't want to spend ŁŁŁ's on proper transmission to make it handle better than 2wd cars.

anyone that DOESNT drive their cars all year round are just queers, or love gold wheels
im only just getting the 3dr going, and went out in it the other night. i think the fastest rwd i have driven before was about 200bhp, so getting in the 3dr for the first time in the damp, with double the power was a bit err, entertaining lol!
i cant wait to get it going properly so i can kick its arse!
as for the OP
since they first came out, i have always said that one day i WILL own an escort cosworth! but at the mo ill have to make do with 3dr half rep lol.
ive only ever driven one esc cos, that was SECS old mallard one, with a T4 around llandow race track...
that was an experiance!
imo the escort looks fucking hardcore, but i also like the looks of the 3dr... although mine is minus the whale tail lol

Get both. Escort with decent power in 4x4, 2wd saff with 500+ for fun!
Doug, get a decent rear beam, adjustable TCA's & solid beam mounts. Makes the car 1000% better.
Don't forget I am next in line to the throne when you sell it, so keep MY 3 door nice and tidy please!
