From what i saw he put the ball down from a free kick after nani dived then handled the ball, but instead nani kicked the ball in the net and the ref ( can we call him that? ) then overuled the linesman and gave a goal

You've got to laugh at Gomez, just when you think he's got his Bartez like shit together he goes and does that. He had the ball, then ran forward and placed it miles ahead all whilst its still in play and the ref is saying it so. Oooops. Was a clear penalty anyway.
Have to laugh at MOTD digging out old clips of Old Trafford, bet they got slated for that on here......... Shame they couldn't find the Drogba offside goal only last season. 
Oh and Nani is awesome.

From what i saw he put the ball down from a free kick that had never been given after nani was pulled back then handled the ball, but instead nani kicked the ball in the net and the ref who at no point nor his linesman stopped or signalled play to be halted gave a goal

Even if it was a freekick, why did gomes place the ball about 10 yards away from where it happened? Then why was the referee standing with his arms out allowing Spurs to have the advantage for the handball, then put them out AGAIN! promting the players to play on as he had never blown his whistle to stop play!
Every kid is taught to play to the whistle, only nani was sharp enough to do it, so Gomes fucked up.
All that said.... it was a penalty anyway, that was the first injustice, then the handball which the ref played advantage for, then gomes fucked about with the advantage and nani capitalised. Well done Nani.

For those who missed the point or dont get the clip, Nani was held back running into the area and like Nani does too often sadly dropped to the floor and put his arm on the ball. which Gomez then picks up...... Nani looks at the ref who puts his arms behind his back and started to make his way back towards the centre of the pitch. The linesman is in line with the last man with no raised flag..... Gomez then throws the ball down a few yards forward of Nani still on the floor like he has a free kick..... Nani gets up, trots up to the ball, as Gomez steps back for his run up, Nani looks at ref as if to say whats going on and the Ref Shrugs as if to say "Fuck knows" so Nani turns and knocks it in...
Ref allows goal and linesman begins to run back to position for restart with no raised flag..... Spurs players ambush him and he raises flag...... Ref goes over and says "The bal was live, i never stopped play" Job done....

Cracked me up how Nani was stood over the ball looked at the ref as if to say whats going on and the ref shrugged like "Fuck knows" and even as he went to strike the ball kept an eye on the ref to see if he was happy with what he was doing lol

Yes and yet Hansen and co only seemed to mention how Rio on his own influenced/was allowed to talk to the ref because he's "England's captain". Funny they seemed to forget about Spurs and the linesman.
You could see Scholes urging Nani to score as well, glad he did in the end.

The way some of you go on its like Man United should play 38 away games whilst everyone else gets half theirs at home.

I watched it live and the commentary was actually nani dived should have been booked he then handled the ball free kick, i dont need anyone to tell me what happened either as i could see it quite clear
As for not placing the ball at the exact spot how many free kicks gain yards same as the throw ins thats not really an issue here is it?
Its not nani's or gomez's fault imo they both did what they thought was right to them its the moron with the whistle who has no idea
