I Never carry a spare ( apart from the transit ) the tyre weld works just fine if you get a minor puncture,i did get a puncture once and i started filling it with tyre weld only to find it was coming out of a massive split on the other side off the tyre! whoops

My mate's old accord type r, they even tell you to do that in the user manual, as the spare wheel isn't big enough to go over the front brakes!

in the 3dr i had the boot cut out and plated, and now the fuel tank sits there lol. so just tyre weld on that o ne.

i hit something on the M2 on monday at about 95 in the vivaro works van, massive bit of metal stuck in the tyre and it pretty soon went flat!

so jacked it up, got the wheel off... went to get the spare...

and vauxhall have decided to fit an anti theft bolt to the cage bit that holds the spare wheel in. and was there the key to undo it... was there fuck!

so after trying to smash the fucker off to no avail, i had to call the AA out anyway

managed to remove it in the end. tyre is fucked tho, was a month old dunlop

I actually got a puncture yesterday in the sprinter on the M11. Turned out there was no spare but luckily i`m a mobile tyre fitter, so i did a quick puncture repair on the side of the road and i was away

I have a 17inch st fiesta wheel as a spare, no jack or wheel key, clutch cable, long nose vise grips, reversable screwdriver, insulating tape and a couple of cable ties, the clutch cable came in handy when it broke a few weeks ago

my frs comes with compressor and foam but ive removed them and fitted a st170 space saver as i dont fancy puttin that foam stuff inside a tyre if it burst for it to wreck my alloys.and if the tyre is ripped bad its no good anyway
