It'll probably do 275mph once and will then need a new engine rebuild. Not in the same league as a veyron which could do it day in day out.

 

Agreed, would rather have the Veyron. The amount of engineering thats gone into that thing to make it driveable all the time, as opposed to the Aero which just goes for top speed. It just won't be as well finished as the Veyron.

Who am I kidding, I'd be lucky to afford a new Fiesta

years ago if you have said there would be a 200 mph car people would have said you are crazy,then we had the f40 etc,then the bar was raised and we had the veyron 250 mph then this at 275 mph so maybe another 20 years we will see 300 mph

thing is making tyres that can cope with 300 mph might be a problem

Veyron hasn't been the fastest production car for a few years now, can't remember the name but a low volume us maker has already cracked 282mph, on low boost, 1600 bhp.
