Default ebay timewasters,why?

yesterday my mother in laws car sold on ebay to a new member without any feedback for £670
the winning bidder never made contact and after some investigation had provided a false number, address and postcode.(google is great)
i contacted the 2nd highest bidder,£650 and offered him the car but he bought a car last night so i have offered it to the 3rd highest bidder at £445.
no,because of this tit if the 3rd bidder buys it she will lose £205 as we missed the 2nd bidder.we could advertise agin but i cant be bothered,we expected £3-400 for the car so anything over was a bonus.
what i cant understand is why these folk go to the bother of setting up an email account, then an ebay account and then bidding on a car they dont even want then make no contact with folk after winning, even to say no thanks.
as a result i contacted ebay with my findings about the false info and they have been removed from ebay.it may only take 10 minutes to open an ebay account and hotmail account but why?i cant understand why someone would do that?
i buy and sell a lot of things on ebay and from time to time you get knobs bidding on things, you usually spot them a mile off but to sit and bid at the last minute actually going out of your way is crazy.rant over.

thats fucked to be honest
im after a few things off there at the moment, guy lives in the same town as me, emailed him twice about the stuff ( which didn't sell ) asking if i could come round and view and he hasn't got back to me, why do people put stuff on ebay if there not going to be bothered to email people back when i want to buy it

fees are ridiculous tbh, listing fees, gaypal then final value!
i dont usually have bother and quite a few of the rs turbo bits i sold recently went to new members, only 1 i had to email twice before receiving payment so this isnt out of the ordinary.i know you get timewasters but what has happened here is someone going out of their way to ruin my day.i dont know anybody in london so its not personal.

i know what you mean, its crap!

you do realise you can block people like this from bidding on any of your auctions? use some of the tools/features ebay provides you with and you'll stand alot better chance of actually selling it to someone who genuinely want your item

I had same problem with a xr2i 56 watchers, how many put off by "winning bidder's" late bids, atleast wasn't broken and still eating saxo's 4 breakfast!! Wish these wasters would get a life/job/slow painfull flesh eating disorder.

I am £600 down due to Ebay messers. 0 rated bidder won my camaro, had no contact since, bidder with 54 feedbacks won my capri, came over from ireland with 7.5 tonne truck, said it was too rusty and he wasn't having it! +£30 in fees!
Trouble is, we all had 0 feedback to begin with, so how can you block theses bidders, knowing they could be just starting out.

Harsh mate , in all the years buyin and selling ( touch wood ) ive never had the misfortune of dealing with wankers.

I can see what your saying about fake accounts, why bother.
All i can say is that it will be some 15 yr old lad who has drank to much white lightning wanting a laff with his mates.
Buts its just not ebay, u always see on here some slagging someone off due to the fact that they bought something paid and they never sent the item out, thats why i always search nearest distance on ebay, id rather go and pick something in person and deal in cash, helps everyone out then, no paypal fees etc

Ive got 12 people on my blocked list. Some are scammers ive been told about. About 3 of them are people who have bid and not paid so reported them and blocked them.

You can also see a list of who has been trying to bid on your item and not been able too. I dont post outside UK and I can see that some people try and bid even tho I put UK Only in the description

Had problems selling my old A4 on there. First bidder did the "Buy it Now" at £1000 and then said they thought it was a diesel so didn't want it then the second "Buy it Now" bidder said his wife bid on it and they thought t was an auto. Advert and photos clearly stated manual and petrol. The some clown emailed offering £600 for it. Fuck off prick!!! Grrrr
