Im trying in vain to fit a zetec to a jeep which has a very narrow engine bay and the standard Ford inlet just isnt going to work.
Ive had the engine running on the OE management and a pared down loom and it's imperitive I can use this, therefore I assume the injectors, TB etc too.
I need a compact manifold (cant stick much more then 17cm from the side of the cylinder head (I have 19cm to the turret and the OE manifold is 22cm) Do any of the common options (rover etc) fit the bill or will I wind up fabricating one?
If I go for making the plenum, are the injector bosses standard?
Cheers

Which zetec inlet are you trying to use?
Mondeo 2.0 that goes down the back is quite big
Focus one that goes down the back is a bit smaller and will fit a fiesta bay unlike the mondeo one.
Then theres the over the top type , which your need the rs1800 one for best flow.

mondeo 1800, its got a central TB pointing upwards and the runners are like an inverted rams horn turbo manifold (loosely) Its plastic and sticks about 22cm from the side of the head.
I wont have room for much over the top of the engine either I dont think

Focus one is a bit more compact and goes down the back so might be the one you need. Ive got a couple in me old dears shed along with a mondeo one. If i remember ill pop past and take a few snaps so you can see the size difference
