wan to get some wheel cleaner thisafternoon but half of the products are junk

anyway, whats the best stuf you can get from halfords?

depends how bad the wheels are i spose really..

the meguiars stuff they sell in a purple/red spray bottle seems quite good, if the wheels aint too bad..
but if there is a load of proper caked on shit on them... then i'd carefully give it the wonder wheels (only once though as it seems to be basically paint stripper )

Wonder wheels is great but its alot cheaper at costco rather than halfords.

I use wonder wheels, but it has damaged the lawyer on my wheels. I now have to wash the wheel with water, then rinse off after putting on 2 spokes as if it dries it leaves a yellow stain which is shit to remove. If I don't use it the wheels don't come up clean and nothing else works as well.

Meguires in the dark purple bottle works fine even on baked on stuff if you agitate it.

the carwashes keep doing crap jobs hence why i wanna have a go myself.

normally i'd get BENN304R to do it as he does an amazing valeting job, but hes busy at the minute

Save your money and get the wheels refurbed properly

I've done this now with 5 sets and I've NEVER had to use a product on them, I just use AG bodywork shampoo and conditioner while I was the motor!

at stripping the lacquer off! and generally fucking your alloys up, gets them clean tho

i use the turtle wax one in a silver spray container it.s mint squirt it on pressure wash it off i never had to agitate one wheel yet it mint stuff
