Turbos
hi guys ..... I would like to change my T34 for something more powerful, I thought of T38 or GT30, but not as many rpm work.
I would like to be progressive, not at high rpm.
get me out of doubt. thanks.

this is a nice set up - depends on your budget
this is what i would go for: gt3071r, siemens 83lbs injectors, hart inlet plenum, rs500 intercooler, MSD chip, ported head.
more of a budget spec: gt3071r, siemens 83lbs injectors, 4x4 inlet with spacer, rs500 intercooler, MSD chip.

I want is to have more power from low rpm, not only have up. and if possible some lag.
gt3071r, siemens 83lbs injectors, inlet with 4x4 spacer, RS500 intercooler, MSD chip. is possible for me.
but it will be what I want?

do you have valve cut outs in your pistons?

You'd be better off building a 2.1 or 2.2 bottom end, and use a gt3071r.
Cossies as standard aren't built for progressive power say like a 20v vw is,
its an old school low comp setup using old school injection.
The yb is all about nothing nothing nothing then bam power.
depending on how much power you want will determine the drivability and torque characteristics with regards to low rpm.

As long as the cr isnt too low then a gt30 will work very well with the right inlet cam and mapping with near zero lag...

T38 will also work well on the correct CAM/s too and good mapping, mine wasn't great because the Engine wasn't speced for the 38, but Steve aka cossie4i makes a nice 440bhp as you know Danny from quite a nice low down boost too...

To get the most of the spec you choose, you really need to have it live mapped and not a "off the shelf chip"
have you got someone who can map the car for you in Spain?

I do not know of any site here in Spain, near my house is a site that mapped cars, but are not specialists in cosworth, I can ask, but I do not like that practiced with my car

gt3071r is 450-500hp turbo, 3 different exhaust housings to choose from, .63, .82 or 1.06. you want the .82
you want a internally gated one unless you want the headache of fitting a external wastergate. a guy on here runs the gt3071r with 2.5 bar boost, inlet cam, rs500 intercooler and gets 480hp & 474 ft/lb torque.
