ok funny one this, ive been offered a refund on a tunnel crossing by a 3rd party and theyve asked for my receipt... i dont haev it.

ticket was paid in cash at the booth so cant get details from credit card statements.

im thinking best way to approach this is to try and prove i used the tunnel and then get the prices of the ticket, which is a best endevours.

so, suggestions? im guessing if i ring eurotunnel they wont really care?

Surely giving eurotunnel a ring and quoting times and date they should be able to duplicate a receipt? Were you in a car or foot passenger? If car youd think they be able to cross check the reg and do it that way. If on foot I guess it could be hard to prove.

Im happy to write that I leant you the 205 euros that it cost me to catch a later tunnel after you made me miss my ferry and a tunnel was the next available crossing

chip, just rung em they cant search by name or registration and as we paid in cash. would you be kind enough to drop me an email with what you just said? ie you paid for the ticket in cash and i paid you back?
