Just saw one on Top Gear. Was just saying to someone you don't really see many on the road.

Thats the same with all Alfas, most people buy them on looks alone, sod all the other important stuff, like known niggles and faults its all about the look

I quite fancied one of these for a while, as they look great

Thing that got me was that the V6 goes into the high tax bracket, 2L is too slow which only left the oil burner.

Think the diesel version supposed to be good tho, dont they have 200+ hp??

To be honest tho if i had gone for one it would have ended up being the 2L petrol as modern diesel cars just go wrong and cost to much to fix

ive driven quite a few of them for the hire company i work for. they are nice to drive but the ones we have spend most of the time back at the dealers being fixed.. the customers are happy when we deliver the car but always comment how disapointed they have been with the alfas when we collect...

No offence Dan but you're useless when it comes to cars... I remember the E36 Beemer!

Why not just get a brand new something or other on one of them 3 year lease things? No worries then and just hand it back when the time's up!!

they do drive very nice and are pretty quick too.. ones i personally drove with problems were massive oil leak few with steering problems wheel bearings and really poor cold starting. they have all had a hard lives and have been hammered from cold since dropped off brand new though. out of all the cars we have id go for VW diesels every time.. passats are lovelly to drive compared to the alfas.
