Sorry guys,been in work today and only now getting onto the forum to find the thread locked.I'm sorry for not explaining things better,it came accross as proper dodgy,sorry for that.

You are right that it's technically ringing,but believe me that car would NEVER be sold on without being put back onto the original id,it was just an enquiry as sometimes you know what insurance companies can be like with insuring replicas.

Yeah,fair point I can see how it's come across now,I bought it purely for spares as they weren't worth that much back then and it had some really good bits on it that I used to finish my own s1.

It went years (1997) ago but I just did a little data check via tax website and thought,Hmmmmm?I wonder?fuck me there must be a good few of them still going round that were rung in the 80's!!!
