Maybe Hatton isn't the best example as he's always been in the news about his drinking and weight between fights but I do actually care.

These top flight sports people are supposed to be role models for kids but thanks to the media, a lot of kids when asked "what do you want to be when you grow up?" now just say "a celebrity" instead of something tangible.

20 + years ago it was rock stars showing up in the papers getting caught doing this kind of stuff.

The difference for sports people is that even if they start throwing their lives away once they've got a few quid, the Sun reading massive don't see the commitment and hard work that's gone into actually getting there. They seem to think that 5 nights out a week, designer clothes, a nice car and something to stick up their noses is their god given right.

No wonder there's so many bippet idiots with credit card/car finance debt[normally whilst still living at home with parents] and even crime in this country.

The only way to stop these "celebrities" from behaving like this is to hit their wallets. I hope they continue to put them on the front page and castigate them, I hope he loses all of his sponsorship deals but I doubt he will.

As for putting "real" news on the front page of a newspaper. BUY A REAL NEWSPAPER.

not really mate, all the stuff that comes in now is cut. the days
