it would be good to see, but i think the crap fuel and no NO2 rule would hurt rods times.

the difference being, they were designed, aerodynamically, and performance wise, to do 200MPH+, dont think ford ever envisaged a saff doing 200MPH+ full stop

To be fair Rod's car wasn't designed to do 0-200mph so it would get trounced by those.

I can only quote our times with around 800bhp 0-200 24.2 & ive found a Datron graph that shows ME stopping from 202 in a tad over 11secs, im sure Mark could do better. So the Topspeed record Spec would have seen 36 secs for that test. Could now do that off Nitrous but admit i would require the 70bhp the 109 gives . The winning car is amazing & on a different planet as is the Viper the other i can relate too.

to be fair to rod his car is an amazing achievement it's a 20 year old ford sierra with 4 doors a large boot and room for a dog and produces super car beating times, everyone on here seems to have a grudge against him, jealously or what ever it is?
How Many of you have a 200mph car? think the guy deserves more praise than the constant knock backs he gets.

Doesn't seem like anyone is dissing rods car mate. Was just a genuine question about how his car would compare.

Getting a Sierra to 200mph is an amazing acheivement on it's let along how fast it gets there, the cars in the video have a major advantage though because they leave the factory capable of hitting 200mph
