imagine the scene:

5 cars parked up...

1 3lt supra
1 328 e36 bmw
1 2lt hyundai coupe
1 1.7 combo van

and 1 1.6 mini cooper S

which was the most expensive to tax.............

THE MINI! this worlds gone mad!!!!

Pressumably because the others are older and are'nt done on actual co2 emissions and are on engine size?

I think you should re-phrase that to Britian has gone mad, shitty country!

I went to tax my xr3i the other day, had to go to our local dvla office as i only had the original old style log book (car was one owner when i bought it and had tax) and the woman behind the desk kindly siad i owed her £68.75 not the £112.75 i was expecting

Jammy bastard, I taxed my Sierra yesterday and it was £112.75 for 6 months!!!! I am going to leave it parked on the road instead of my drive so I can get my moneys worth!!

we have a massive deficit to pay off and us motorists are the easy way to do it. And it can all be justified under the guise of "saving the environment".

The mondeo tdci cost £550 a years insurance and tax £125 only takes 1.5 months to get back savings not using the cosworth 600 miles a tank 4 x the cosworth happy at the tax wonder what it would be if i cosworthed it !

Gotta tax mine this month. It'll be £112, was only about £106 though 6months ago.
They oughta be giving it back with the shit state of the roads round here.

Someone must know-how much is a scooby to tax when its done on co2 levels??

Good old rip off Britian!!!

Just forked out my usual 12 month tax for the Focus, which was a nice round £205!!!! Should have kept it as a 1.6 on the log book
