If you go fishing on a boat, be careful getting in and out - I broke my ankle in three places on May 4th and still can't walk properly!

Apart from that Florida is GREAT, but Orlando is NOT a relaxing holiday!

Wicked place m8, I have been 3 times over the years. The parks take a while to see, If you go and do all the disney, stuff, magic kingdom, MGM and ebcot, its at least a day each, Then there is universal stuidos, sea world etc....
Best bit was goin to daytona speedyway, doin the Richard Petty Nascar ride, FOOK me its like a roller coaster, doin 150 round the banking!!! You have to wear "HANS" devices!!!
Have a wicked time m8, Wish I was goin!!!!!

Been 3 times and I love it,would go every year but can't afford it.my mate does, but he's a tight cunt and goes to all the dinner offers, won't buy any clothes and only goes to say one park he can get a cheapy deal on,nit a holiday in my eyes.

Right, back to subject!!you MUST try busch gardens, about an hour drive in Tampa, awesome rollercoasters, really cool safari bit and there's a good good about how beers made.

Seaworlds good too,I didn't like the Disney parks myself, only really one good ride in each and a lot of bullshit around it,great for little kids though.Kennedy space centre is good, but you need to get there early as it's a long day and apparently the new shuttle simulator is awesome!!

Food wise,as above really,a good sizzler/ponderosa style breakfast should set you up til evening really,I only had a snack in the park then as the food can be shit in a lot of them and expensive too.sadly race rock's gone as that was my favorite resturant, nascars ok but the staff were a bit shitty to us,although cos of the time of year your going, the service should be a1,it gets crap when the yanks are on their hols as they tend to look after their own.

Shopping wise, the Florida malls good, and the orlando premium outlets is great for Nike, addidas, lacoste, tommy hilfiger etc etc.

The worlds largest mc donalds is on I drive, just by the harley shop, some of their gourmet stuff was lovely as well.

If your in a villa,I'd say it's more likely your staying in kissimmee which means you won't be far from old town, get down there on Saturday night for the car show, there's some awesome yank metal and unlike in this politically correct country the cops actually encourage a bit of street racing, burnouts etc.their show'n'shine stuff is jaw dropping!!

Cocoa beach is a big dissapointment, although I hear Daytona isn't.do what you can but don't kill yourself to see everything,it's not really possible so just enjoy what you can.

The only problem is once you've been, most other holidays just seem to miss something and you'll be saving like fuck to get out again!!!I'd much prefer Florida once every two years to Europe every year.

Busch Gardens and Seaworld have been sold by Anheuser Busch so no free beer, beer lecture, or even Budweiser memorabila any more, which is a pain because we were trying to replace a Bud glass we had got our eldest previously (He wouldn't take time out of Uni to come with us so the glass was our gift to him)

Top lady!!!that's what I always do as well!!!you'll have a great time mate,I did.looks like you've got organised as well.the weather will be spot on as well, even if you get a hurricane it only lasts about two days and everythings back to normal.

It's an amazing feeling once you get through customs and go to pick up the hire car,the doors open and you feel like you've walked into an oven as everythings airconned out there!!!customs are quick as well, unlike this country.have a great time mate and I am SO JEALOUS!!!!!

Personally wouldnt bother with Busch Gardens, was there last month and to be honest Animal Kingdom is the same and more. Lot of building work going on in Busch at the moment as well. Wouldnt waste the time going there.

Best restaurant by far was in the Gaylord Palms Convention Center, if you in a villa i'd imagine you'll be in Kissimmee, if so jump on the 192 and turn right onto International Drive, the turning before Arabian Nights, then its a fook off building on the left hand side, you really can't miss it! The restaurant in there was called Villa De Flora, best tasting food you will get. Hooters is worth going in, AWESOME waitresses in there and not as sleazy as it sounds. IHOP is good for lunches, pancakes are lovely as it their Cajun Chicken sandwiches!!

Other good ones to go to are Carraba Italian Grill by Premium SHopping outlets, Olive Gardens (one of International Drive and another on the 192).

This year we also did a show called Capones, Al Capone based Dinner show, was a laugh, about $25 dollars for food and beer all night.

Also did a Hot Air Balloon flight, booked it for the missus really and I wasnt overly bothered about it, but soooo glad I did it, awesome experience, plus they fly pretty much everyday (early start but worth it).

Shopping wise people have mentioned Florida Mall, Premium Outlets, Mall at Millenia etc etc. Abercrombie & Fitch is expensive over there now as they've clocked that the UK love the stuff, Hollister though is still cheap and the clothes are identical, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren are very cheap, not sure how big you are but I fit in the kids XL stuff over so things like Ralph polo shirts etc are stupidly cheap!!!! Prime outlets is also very good for shopping at the top of international drive.

One more quick tip, when going to the water parks take your own beach towel, we normally hire them to save fooking about but they have rocketed up in the last year or so, something like $7 for a pokey white towel. You can buy em in bargain world for that!

Been there about 8 or 9 times now I think and about to buy a property over there!!

Have fun!

Chris

If you want steak Texas De Brazil is the best steak house in Orlando, top of International Drive near Prime Outlets, not cheap but you wont get any better!

It was the best time of my life... nuff said

But really it is the best. I stayed right next to the premium outlets in some kinda hilton (theres hundreds of them) and the shopping there was really nice and cheap! It as mall at millenia that took my money

Go to downtown disney and book tickets for cirque du soleil, it will be money well spent IMO. Then once done with that have a nice meal somewhere there as there is lots to choose from. I went to planet hollywood and that was nice

Have Fun!
