In which case I guess it does read very differently in the text quoted above, as it clearly reads as if it was you who sold it.
You appear to be making the assumption there that I was never involved in the sale at all Chip. The sale was "instigated" by Julien and I couldnt stop it, but I still had involvement, just not as much decision making as I feel I deserved. In case it has escaped your attention, I not only sold them a website, I now work for them too. I am actually Internet Brands UK Sales Executive and administer 2 of their largest European wesbites for them.

I am mate, it can be harsh sometimes and am under no illusions that my workload contributed somewhat to my divorce from Nicole. I have recently considered dropping a few responsibilities and will be revisiting those thoughts after my upcoming well deserved holiday.

of course he puts the hours in - its called marketing and he has been relatively successfull too so good on him.

What was the reasons behind Petrucci selling the site then as surely with that many visitors you would be making good money on advertising, etc.

Its been a hard 6 months and one of the main reasons you folks havent seen much of me on here but Nicole and I have both moved forwards now and Ella is amazing as a result. We would both really appreciate not discussing this any further on a forum. Thanks for your understanding.

i would have posted something in that thread, but seeing as no one else did, i didn't want to start the ball rolling

i know from previous postings by stu that he does work amazingly long hours and i've often commented that he must have a delorean parked up in the workshop because i certainly couldn't fit all that work into just 25 hours a day

not that i'm on the same sort of schedule, but i did turn the phone off for a few days recently to chill out with the family and it was great (although secretly i wanted to turn it on because i was bored of being the kids bouncy castle )

anywho, from what stu has explained, he's made the best out of a situation that was out of his control and, financially, it looks like it's paid out for him

Sorry to hear that Stu, but if it is the best for all parties concerned then sometimes it does have to be done.
