I know its about a year old now but i've only just watched it and thought it was great but I am weird for rooting for Gerard Butler all the way through and quite sad when he died at the end?
Plus who was the person helping him all the way through? You never find out!

i watched it last night too, my understanding is he didn't have any help cause he was letting himself out on a night through the tunels he'd dug? but then again i was being distracted by big boobs, hahaha

It's one of the best films I've seen. Only disappointment for me, being a bit of a sicko, is that the torture scene wasn't a bit more graphic. I think the film could have stood that.

I kind of agree with some of the people he wasted

but like most films of that type they make it so he goes just a bit too far so that in the end he has to go down!!

The Uk retail version has been cut to hell, i saw a downloaded version and thought the torture scene was fine, just kept you thinking.

I loved the bit were the judge answered her mobile phone !!

gerard butler CANT do accents and can only play one type of character.

The rest of the cast carried him in that film he just spoiled it!

 

probably the kinda guy that classes such titles as con air and the rock as all times classics

law abiding citizen is decent ruined by a shit ending imo

what totally ruined the film for me was the bit where he gets an email from his DEAD FUCKING ASSISTANT!!!!!!!!!

HOW THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!?!!!?

and then the plot sort of fell apart afterwards

what he should have done was booby trapped the places and jabbed them with the same nervy stuff he did with the guy he chopped up, and he should have blown up more shit

right up until that point, i was glued to the screen thinking "i'm missing something obvious" and then i found myself thinking "wtf?!"

brilliant film, spoiled by the last 20 minutes

and as for the accent, i didn't know if he was leonidis or a bit rocknrolla during the flim, but he played a blinder and a suffering parent

 

As far as i mind he was checking his dead assistants emails and the mail was to her from her boyfriend.
