For MAPPERS...a question re Stage 1
How is the map different between a std YB map and a Stage 1 YB map @ std boost pressure with the option to run up to 15psi?
Want to put the 3dr on S8 for a while and fiddle on an old std engine to get me some more mapping experience

It depends who did the chip and how thorough a job they did. Many of them just have the boost limit removed and some have the rev limit lifted a bit.
Let me know exactly which ECU it is and I'll e-mail you a file of some sort! (Cost of file ... two hedgehogs, one old lady, three speeding tickets and a damaged three door front rim) LOL!!!
Let me know what chips you have so I can send you it correctly sized (64, 128, 256 k-bit etc).

ahh.......
https://passionford.com/forum/viewto...249&highlight=
Does this then possibly mean that I am simply running too much fuel pressure in relation to my 1 bar of boost?
...Or alternatively, not enough boost in relation to my fuel pressure.....?
The other evening was fookin cold out, and it was sort of raining/sleeting quite heavily. The Transit went like fook at full throttle for once!
Now, thinking aloud further if I may, my intercooler is mounted UNDER the front crossmember/bumper. If the airflow through the cooler isn't sufficient, would that then mean that my ACT is too high, leading to insufficient oxygen content?
Could be that I need to make an air duct to feed the intercooler......?
.....Or a custom intercooler that I can squeeze in front of the main rad?
