How can you find out if someones case is going to court/ scheduled date?
Without ringing the dibble!!!!

Doesn't cover Magistrates Court sadly I don't think that site.
If your really bothered you could go to the Magistrates in the morning every day and they put an alephabetical list of everybody in court that day on the wall.
There are places you can ring up, but I'm not sure they are allowed to tell you if some random person is booked in to be in court at some point in the future due to data protection.

20K+ Super Poster.
Ring the court, they will tell you, and have to tell you if requested, the only exception to this are juvenile courts, where you won't even get in anyway, as they are closed to the public, all other courts are public courts, the data protection act does not cover the info for other courts, if it did they wouldn't be able to advertise it on the notice board.
You can go to any court(other than juvies) and sit in the seats at the rear and listen, even where the press have a gagging order, I've sat in literally probably over 100 now.

tabetha, sitting in court must be the most boring thing ever unless your getting paid to do it. Serious hats off to you if you have gone and done that for pleasure.
What is your fascination with courts and law? I can tell it is not your job as a lot of the stuff you post on here is factually wrong. Like the time you told somebody to elect crown court trial for a s.172 case

Cameron until that person appears in court for the first time (then it becomes public knowledge), or unless the police give you a heads up its happeneing (i.e. you have a vested interest), then its none of your business and your unlikely to find out.
