Easier way to put alternator belts back on 2wd cos?

Default Easier way to put alternator belts back on 2wd cos?

Is there any easier way to put them back on? My fingers are killing me!

Alternator if completely slackened off, can i turn the engine over like you do on a bike chain or something?

take the bolt out completely m8 then alt will push in more

done that mate, thought that would be it, then i could just pop them on, but they aren't quite big enough

Have you slackened off the adjusting bar on block as well.This will give you a few more mm.
