I thought the entrance fee was high, its not like it was anything more than a load of cars parked in a field. A few parking stewards to pay, couple of portaloos... someone was making money.

Was decent but don't think I'll bother again.

Also funny to see 'best mk1 and best mk2 escort competition', when only one mk1 and one mk2 turned in lol.

Next year let me know if they have a competition for the best Mondeo Si with the registration number P19 SBT cos i might enter my car in it as i'm fairly sure i would win.

LOL, they had a classic section in the jap side and cars that were only like 18 down to 15 years old were entering was just silly and took the prizes off proper classics winning it

To be fair i dont think the entry price was high we dont get many shows just a few miles away £7 is nothing for a day out yes judging was a bit off but worth the price to see some top cars and to chat to other ford guys when it comes to a day like this its what you make it i spent all day walking round and chatting to the owners i had a good day and will be there next year

what was you expecting to see at a ford n jap day

of course sombody was making money thorsby hall wanted £4 out of each ticket for the use of the grounds and the lads on the gate are rsoc members who stood there in the sun all day and didnt get paid , and like you said the toilet hire had to be paid for and that aint cheap . its a show set up by members for members and enthusiasts .

£7 entrance to view some fantastic cars is a bargain it cost me that for a burger, coffe and bottle of pop

i had no issue with the entrance fee either, was a bloody good day imo. These shows wont last forever if they dont move with the times and charge accordingly to cover costs. People will moan like f*ck if there were NO cheap shows to go to and all we were left with are shows like Ford Fair and National day that cost considerably more.

I like local static shows as well as Track Days, and Fair play to Notts for their regional day it was fantastic, and WELL WORTH £7!
