i think there are already so many places you can donate at now , so if people wanna then they can just pop to the bank , post office , even send a text message. a mate of mine shaved his legs and chest ( he was a hairy c&*t too ) managed to raise £500

Just donate what you want to be honest, all the money and travel time (fuel) will be better spent donated rather than meeting up

All in my own opinion

It'd be nice to do something - but like's already been said there's so many places to donate, there's probably not many people who haven't....

You could do something like being sponsered for spending 24 hours in a car with a friend (or even a few friends to make it more funny).

Or buy 2 crap cheap cars, and have a scrapheap challenge contest, with a fee to enter, all proceeds to Tsunami fund - with a cheap prize for the winner like wine or something.

Just ideas..

It's nice of you to start this post I must say!!!!

Personally and I know I'll probably get shot down in flames for this but seen as its had so much exposure how about doing it for another worthy cause?

If you look how much money has been donated so far theres a fair few quid in the kitty, which will take a while to disburse. I'm not knocking it all as it truly was a horrendous thing to happen and to affect so many people going about there daily business/lives. I also know people who have lost or not heard of loved ones or relatives to this date which, is such a cruel blow to all.

I just thought it would be a nice touch to do something for the people who live in this country and who are crying out for help. As the old saying goes "Charity begins at home"

Oh and before anyone even thinks I'm a hearltess bastard. I donated what I though I'd spend on NYE before NYE which ended up at £75 and I had a piercing this week which raised another £200 for the Tsunami which was all donated via the DEC website

They gonna need Billions and Billions, not the puny amount that's been donated so far
The money that's already been donated?? It'll be gone within months!

What's needed right now, you have to rebuild the economy, re-attract tourists, get rid of all the damage caused by the wave, re-stock medical supplies...the list is endless

How about thinking ahead for a change, or don't you bother?

btw, it's puny compared to what they REALLY need in the longterm, once the cameras are gone, donations will stop...

I don't post on this BB to gain credibility like most people, it's public and I voice my opinion

Yes your right mate, were getting summat sorted on the MLR & i just thought it would be nice if we could do summat on pf too. I WILL donate in both. In fact on the MLR were also doing another event to raise cash for the nspcc
