In the process of painting my black 3 door, now i cant decide whether to fit rs 500 top and bottom spoilers to my car when putting it back together what do u guys think?

If you can get hold of them i would If you do i think you really need to fit the front bumper also though.

 

yes i would as i like them, but try and find them.

probably cost near £2k for the kit.

 

just the rear upper looks good i think,only fit the lower if it's got the proper cut out,seen some shocking hatchet jobs about

 

I think ill build it up standard for now and collect all the correct parts.

 

why not put a fibreglass rs500 on top - will save a lot of money

good luck finding genuine parts and for reasonable money too

 

you can buy the rear lip off ebay to put on the standard spoiler, supposed to look really god when fitted.

 

i have seen the lip for sale but never on a finished spoiler - has any one got any actual pics?

 

Iv just been looking at the top spoilers on ebay where could i get a lower one?

 

good luck finding a lower one - i have benen looking for months now

 

not seen any picd of them sorry.

the rear lower spoilers do pop up from time to time and sell for about £200-£300 depending on condition.

lol, i have the full kit in my car right now,selling the kit tomorrow.

 

i just got the lower front bumper 1 of the bloke off ebay and im not too happy with it, it wants alot of work and not a very good fit, so just beware if you buy the top spoiler tip if its the same quality as the front bib

i was gutted at having to let my genuine lower spoiler go with my shell as the coonts in the bodyshop had bonded it on

 

Defo get the 500 spoilers.
Both mine are fibreglass, had them sprayed same colour as the car, no matt parts as it isnt a 500 so didnt want to make out it was just liked the styling
