Think it was on those yoko's he likes, certainly was something sticky at that time.

I just text him and he said he is going to try and get the video off his mates camera as its not online yet.

Everyone who goes out with JC raves on about his driving, I need to try and follow him for a lap to learn where to actually go, rather than bounce off every kerb like I currently do

I've seen the pics from National Day of him driving Dave Sharrock's Escort Cossie round there, properly crossed up coming through one of the corners! Dave will prob have the pic on his PC, sorry Dave if it was you driving , I know you like the sideways stuff too!

Clearly a man with peddling skills!

If you follow JC in the clio you will go a LOT further over the kerbs than you do now.
He thinks the ring is a rallycross circuit

Not sure how well your relatively uncompliant suspension would cope with his lines though.

i need to go back over there on a quieter weekend and enjoy it more,
World renauly series weekend, was bad timing (didnt know when we booked)

closed lots, and had a few teething issues with the cars suspension (which is all sorted now)

maybe then i could do under 10mins

If you cant get under 9 mins in your car with a bit of practice mate, then you need to find yourself a different hobby

Once you know the track, your car will easily go round there under 9 mins.
Lee was doing under 9 mins in his clio, jonboy has done under 9 in a very basic spec XE nova, jim did 8:38 in his M3, this thread is about JC doing 8L34 in a standard mk2 clio, its genuinely not a big deal to get under 9 in any half decent car.

ha ha, true.

People who do a 1:20 at combe, tend to do about an 8:30 at the ring if they drive with commitment once they have had a bit of practice, obviously its not an exact conversion, but thats the sort of ballpark you should be in.

its all about track knowledge. I got Maria around under 10 minutes in the Clio.

Your pug alot faster... I reckon I could get you around under 9 with few laps practice if you trust me!

I was SCREAMING at Maria in one of the Videos! 'Don't lift... don't lift. its flat here... don't lift... don't you DARE fucking lift!'

She lifted!

to be fair i drove the megane after he done 3 laps in it,,,,,,, AND THERE WAS FUCK ALL BRAKES so try and work that into hes lap times,,,,, i was only driving it to the hotel and you had to PROPER hit the pedal to get something like a little bite so fuck knows what it was like half we round the ring, thats when i get the part when he said "im trying to not to brake too much as there getting hot"

Si i dont think your carbon splitter will appriciate the lines either but you need to go out with him as a passenger as hes braking hes more scary than yours
