Brands hatch crash
I don't know if anybody know's anything about it but there was quite a bad crash at Brands today with the air ambulance and firebrigade spending close to 2 hours to get John grant out the car.
Just wondered if anyone had heard any info if his o.k or not.

John Grant
I have just had an email from John Grant's brother:
He has been diagnosed with 2 broken ribs, 2 broken femurs and a burnt left arm. He was due to be operated on yesterday evening and is likely to be in hospital for several weeks.
He says the brake pedal went to the floor, despite pumping and he knew he was going to hit something - hard. The front of the car folded up and he was trapped by the dashboard coming down on his knees and the steering wheel hitting his chest.
The car also went on fire and, knowing he was trapped, he was rather keen that the fire was put out quickly, but it seemed to take 20-30 seconds before the flames went out, by which time he was covered in extinguisher foam. It took a further 45 minutes or more to get him out of the car, after which he was helicoptered to hospital.
