Default Best place to get a 4x4 cossie steering rack? (escos/saph the same?)

Need a new rack for the saph, been looking on Ebay etc, but can anyone reccomend any other places to get a rack???
Also, been offered a good deal on new escos rack, but from the usual rumor mill i've heard that they're different to 4x4 saphs?
Apparently the TRE's are different and it's a different ratio, but seeing as he esoc runs the same stuff i don't really think it would be an issue, unless the pipework onto the actual rack is different.

p.s It's a late spec saph so I imagine it'd be 99% identical to an escos anyway?

xr4x4 are different and have no lock stops fitted so are 3 turns lock to lock and the wheels and tyres hit the inner arch and steering arms

whatever you get test it first to ensure it is 2.25 turns lock to lock

I am fitting a cos 4x4 rack to my race car tommorow due to this exact problem

Does it fit okay then?
Brackets for what??? i thought it just bolted to the subframe/x-member with 2 bolts, which should be the same for 4x4 saph and escos?

Fits perfect m8,the brackets that bolt it to the subframe are the opposite from a saph one,i cant remember if they are at the front or the back of the rack. Think mine has escos one as it's one of the last 200 saphs.

Spot on guys, thanks for all the help!
I've ordered up a new escos rack (at a good price) and some solid alloy bushes for the rack, so just wanted to make sure it was ok, hopefully it will sort out my long running issue.

Aye will do mate, just need to get my caliper sorted and boost issue dealt with, hopefully with a new rack, lambda sensor and calipers rebuilt it'll be 110%, car is perfect otherwise. I'll be totally happy with it once i've sorted those issues out, will be the first time in about 6 years!
