Thieving Bas&%*ds....
got a call about 2.30am from my best mate, some absolute cunts have tried to steal his saph cossie ....
Luckily it looks like they were disturbed, but they have ruined the passenger door and smashed the ignition barrel... They have rolled it down the road, luckily not hitting anything as there are no front brakes on it at the moment, but as you can imagine my mate is gutted as it is an absoluty stunning car
Was in the Halesowen area, doubt if anyone on here will know anything, but if you do hear anything there is a reward for info.
Thank fuck they didn't get it, but just ruins owning a nice car worrying if they will be back

gutted for him. Its not just the fact its happened, its not being able to sleep easily at nite now, any little noise will make him want to get up and look out the window. Been in that situation myself. Is there no garages he can rent round his way?

It's lucky in a way that they didn't get it started if it had no front brakes! At least he can get it repaired now but it's going to be a real worry for him

Shit news Alex.
Hope you get it sorted buddy. Surely it'll be more financially beneficial for you to repair yourself than get it written off and put on the register?
Its only minor damage, but bloody frustrating as well

they are worth whatever parts you have on them tbh!! mine has had a rebuild and a bara box so is insured for 9k the last door i had which was also a brand new passenger cost the insurance 1.5k to put right and thats if they can still get them!! i might try to buy back if they rite it off! or just give up whats the point? think the battery must have been flat due to car being parked up but im guessing thats why they couldnt start it, shame really as there were no front brakes on it so they would have made it too the end of the road driven into a tree and died!!!

Knowing the justice system in this country, had they started it and died due to no front brakes, you would probably have gone done for leaving a vehicle in that state!! Glad they never got it tho, hopefully wont be written off

Or let them get away with it and kill themselves the first time they try to throw the anchors out. That'll teach em.
Do NOT claim on your insurance after a break-in. Always get it repaired privately. All you have to do is mention that it's damaged and the retard at the insurance company will press the "Beyond Economical Repair" button. My other half's car was written off because it had a 6 inch dent in the rear door! Insurers are no better than the thieves!
