97 mondeo starting problem
I have a 97 ford mondeo 2.0. I have converted it to manual, run car with automatic computer and wiring loom by setting shift selecter to park, to allow car to start. Car wood not run properly. Was told by ford garage needed to swap computer and loom to the manual ones. Have done that now car wont start. They have tryed to re program keys but need to locate the pats system and change that over also. Does anyone no were this is located and if this will work? Or is there another way to get around it and start the car?
I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!

You do indeed need a manual ecu, as the auto ecu will limit revs to 4000 if in park or neutral, the pats on yours should be located under the ash tray/lower dash area bolted on top of the trans tunnel.
