Default Whats missing from this turbo????

t35 turbo with .55 housing

noticved it wasnt boosting right, had a wee look and noticed this, whats missing?

it's not running water cooling thats all - which is fine. Won't be anything to do with the boost prob.

that's just the water cooling, i don't use mine either, just make sure you cool down properly after a thrash.
probably a amal valve problem, boost controller settings or weak actuator spring.

someone has not piped in the water cooling pipes not the end of the world S1 RST were only oil cooled.

shouldn't be effecting the boost though

aye the bigyin just phoned, walked me through it, says its just the blank thats missing, but thats not the boost problem, will have a look at it when i get back.

i ran mine with no water feeds just oil feeds

looks like you have a load of pre load on the actuator mate could do with restricting the amal valve rather than having so much preload

I think he was just using the S1 RST as an example of a car not using a water cooled turbo.

yeah its a cossie engine thanks for the input guys, thought i had blown something off the turbo when i looked! Will get it sorted and have a wee trip to greersport for the rollers.
