Default Quad bikes

I'm thinking of getting the little one a quad for the summer. I have places i can take her and remain legal

But i'm stuck as to were to buy them i don't eally wanna buy blind on ebay and can't find a shop tat sells new let alone second hand ones anyone know any dealers or sites to look at i would not want a mini moto one or the chinese shitey version that will last five mins lol

I'm in the north west at blackpool by the way. Anyone else got a quad or motorcross bike for there kids? Has it been a 5 min fad etc as this might help decide my budget

Weve got two lt50's they are excellent, had two cheap e bay jobbies and they were shit, crap running, crap build, everything, i sent them straight back. The suzuki's have most parts available new still through the dealers and there are loads being broke all the time on e bay!
Definatly reccomend them!

I defo aint in the market for the cheap ones on ebay as i have heard nothing good about them. I have been looking for something like the lt50 or similar that parts are readily available for but i don't like buying anything of ebay tbh as i've bid on auctions, travelled miles for cars and they've been a heap basically. But other than ebay i aint had much luck seeing any for sale

my sister got her boys this...

LT50

I stripped it down and turned it into this...

the one comment they had was they wanted a push button start as the pull was a sod. They sold it for Ł500, think they picked it up for about Ł250 looking a little tatty.

Best bet is to go and check them out before buying, pistonheads has loads usually, so look for someone localish.

That looks awesome mate, cheers never thought of pistonheads! I was thinking an electric start would be easier but seem to see alot that need new batterys cause they don't hold a charge etc and they've never bothered to replace it lol

If you get one that is mechanically good they are pretty easy to tart up and look spot on.
