Default transit bumpers back to black?????

posting this for a mate of mine who has had hid transit resprayed but the bumpers etc are dull and grey

what is the best product to use to get a reasonable black or near black finish peeps

id recomend plasticare u can get it on ebay for about £15 a bottle black or grey just apply with a sponge and it will dye the plastic trim. if really bad 2 coats maby. i done it on my 20 year old trim on my 205 and i came up like brand new

Peanut butter. No honestly, this is what i heard. I've never tried it and it could just be bullshit but that's what i heard.
If anybody is brave enough to try it let us know whether it works or not.

cant seem to find any black on ebay but there is gray so maby u could email the seller and see if he has any black but that is the stuf that i used and what a difference

heat it up using a heat gun, works wonders, and it lasts, not like these dyes/oils that wash off as soon as it rains

tyre shine (orange bottle) gets em black and stays black.

I tried the peanut butter one on my S2 today and was fucking amazed at how well it worked !!!

Mirrors and petrol cap are now black again rather than light grey !!!

When i first heard about the peanut butter i thought someone was pulling my plonker but it looks like some of you have proved that it actually does work - unless you are taking the piss.
Aaaaargh, now i'm still not sure what to believe!!!
