Andy Nicholls is certainly top of the tree FWD drag wise in the UK, and has been for years!

I hope he cracks a 9 soon

With drag, i'm more interested in the terminals. It's much more representative of how quick the car is on the road. The mods needed to get a good ET turn the car into something which isn't usable on the road. Having a car that is only used on the strip is boring imo. R888's etc is where it stops for me personally.

With Gary's Fiesta, it's used on the road all the time in exactly the same spec as it is on the strip. I'd like to get that to low 12's at high 120's on the GT28 on R888's. Nothing much on the road is going to touch that.

100% agree with that statement, and obviously for those reasons my car would never give the 'best' qtr mile times possible with the power i have etc etc, and is no doubt the reason why alot of fords have never made the grade.
I'm well chuffed to see some fwd fords getting consistently into the 12's.....in ford terms a big improvement and now some have got the qtr mile bug no reason why those times won't keep tumbling
