sorry mate he's misinformed, all the actuator does is open and close the wastegate.

there are methods of bost control that mak the actuators do clever things, but at the end of the day an actuator is just an actuator, nothing more

twin outlet is a boost controler actuator buy julian godfrey ( he really is a god too )

wont actually reduce lag THAT much though, will reduce boost creep though !!!!, only on big boost cars though, 7psi aint gonna notice the reduced lag

again its abit like ( but its no where near as crude) removing the actuator pipe and leaving JUST the presure of the spring allowing the wastegate to open, it will open later BUT not that much later !!!

twin port actuators are nothing new, renault 5 turbos had them since the mid 80s, they do fuck all worthwhile.

only way an actuator can improve "lag" if you want to call it that is by holding it shut till full boost, and even a 30quid dawes device will do that for you

even better when ya remove the actuator pipe

the 30 quid dawes device works very very good steve i shit you not , there not goot a big boost aplications but are ok upto 30psi

down side is they seem to make the boost come in with a bang , thats not good in thw wet and rwd , there very good systems though , very underated imo

thats because benn the actuator ya had on before wasnt a -34 i bet but a worn out -31 . if thats the case then YES ya would notice it , to eliminate boost creep is what they do ( as i know you already know, just telling others )

ginge, benn had the "boost controller" fitted at the same time, and thats what made his less laggy.

it works a bit like what switch has got, but its a bit more complicated as it uses a twin port actuator
