Default Any IT wizards / Bloomberg experts??

Gents, I send out a bloomberg msg to my clients in the morning.

I compile it in word or notepad in the correct format/ spacing etc but when I copy it and paste it in to bloomberg... the formatting / spacing is all tits up and I spend ages rejigging it

is there any program I can use or a function of word/excel/notepad that I can use, to set all my spacing / formatting

so when I paste the data in to bloomberg, it remains the same

ive been faffing with this for the past few months but have only just clocked what an UBER pain in the arse it is!

dave - i would not use word mate as that inserts extra characters and ruins formatting even more.

For the web we tend to copy and paste into notepad and then paste it into the application we want as notepad does not insert any extra characters but i suspect you will then have to format this text once into the bloomberg portal.

sorry have not used bloomberg so cannot comment further.

Not if he saves it as 'text only' as that will remove all the stupid forced formatting.

By copying the text you copy the formatting though? If you save it as text only, then copy that it's 'raw' copy with no hidden styles/formats.
