Nothing wrong with a GrpA, WRC you must make sure the block and head are dead flat.

So how tall are you then with a user name like that ?

And welcome to the mad house

don't undestand why anyone would tell you not to use a group a or wrc item?

i think you'd struggle to find a cossie in the land that doesn't run one or the other, i personally run a wrc gasket but then i had the head and block skimmed when i was rebuilding as a mls gasket doesn't forgive imperfections.

As said mate only aviod them if u dont have the block and head 100% flat, also depends what sort of power ur running?! group a ones are good and from memory the escos ones are supposed 2 be the same?!

All depends really what ur aiming for!!

Only running 350 bhp , well lane told me I need a bigger turbo ( still standard ) boosting at 26 psi with actuator turned down . Apparently STD turbo only capable of 18 psi . Only changing head gasket because it's never been done but other things have been uprated. I ve owned car since 98 and rarely use it , oh and Steve who said name was due to my height? Thanks everyone

WRC imo really require long studs to get the right clamp, but some do get away with it. The lastest cometic multi layer would be good but as sid block head need to be 100% flat, so if i was you i'd go escort cosworth head gasket

Well if going T4 you will NEED a cometic or WRC multi layer, my advice is choose a definate spec then decide on head gasket.

Grp A/ Escos - upto 360bhp

After this a multi layer is a must IMHO.

T4 is a reliable 2bar turbo mate many peak them at 34psi + though LOL. Very laggy though really. What you want for the road is:

T34 .48
803 injectors
Grp a/escos head gasket
3bar map
pf09 tps
RS500 type intercooler
NMS or MSD map

350 max bhp but so fucking drivable on the road!!! Best cossie road conversion going the proper strage 3

Stick a t34 .48 on and a suitable map
or put t4 on with a set of greys or siemens with suitable map(nms) for 400bhp on std head cams

i wouldnt run a t4 unless your aiming for 500+hp

if you want to keep to stage 3'ish then t34.63 with a set of siemens will see a nice 400hp

see the problem with 4x4's is the gearbox tends to shit itself when u up the power/torque......but having said that aslong as u dont launch them or rag the fuck out of them in 3rd they do last..........my advise for a very good road car would be do ur gasket and sell ur T4 and put a t34.48 on it....stick in some bigger injectors than greens seimens 55's or light blues and get it mapped to about 28psi spike and hold 25/26 psi......this will be a mint road car that shouldn't give u to many problems (circa 360bhp)...............

Well Lane aren't really the best to start with.
I'd use a small turbo Escos gasket, and a T34/63, with a set of 55lb Siemans
