My mate ran his in to the ground and from a reliability point it took a LOT of hammer with little issue! Bar a clutch or 2 which is obvious and the common diff knocking issue!

Careful if it's TOO cheap, maybe hiding something.

I've had 2, great cars, look out for the AYC as that can be a pain in the rear, then just general common sense issues........

Can be if it fails, that's why if you want one and you can hold out i'd pay ABIT more and look for an RS version as this has no AYC and takes more power too..

6 RSX or RS Sprint are the kiddies, but they don't come up for sale much and when they do they're snapped up and like i said a tad dearer.

Don't be put off though with the AYC aslong as you check it etc still a cracking car to buy...

Be a good idea to know spec and mileage mate and how much guy wants for it. They are very capable and reliable cars good mate of mine had one for about 2-3 years reliable as fuck running about 300bhp never skipped a bit only thing that went wrong was rad started leaking from the top but you won't be disappointed no way.

If its too cheap then be wary of it, it could be cheap because it's fucked

I had an Evo 6 TME for 3 years running Autronic, I used it daily and drove it hard and it never let me down, not even the clutch.

I would deffo buy another Evo if I wanted a fairly quick out of the box, practical and reliable car.
