Nope mate... They pay their tax in poland.
I don't have to buy a tax disc when I go to the UK in my car and you don't have to pay my German road tax when you visit the Ring.
However it's still not 100% legal if the car is only being used in the UK and just registered in poland to save money.

If resident in this country they have 6 months to register thier car on uk plates, the trouble is plod doing anything, with lack of evidence etc.
They are hardly going to be insured on thier "polish" cars(for poland) when they are over here all the time, they'll simply go without, must say not all are bad though, the women are usually well fit, and the blokes are pissheads on vodka.
DR Mueller of Watton Surgery, went 3 years without registering his car here on uk plates even though he has a uk wife and lives here permanently, with a mortgage, registered now, as someone reported him to dvla, along with pictures of the car, all mot'd and taxed now!!
