i want it for a BT escos so shouldnt need closed loop, what power does yours make and what does it drive like? im running a stage 1 at the mo the car has been this way for about 10 years its been a 9 years since i had a cossie so just wondered if this was the way to go or just stick with greens etc

greens are to small for a t34 imo.
the safest way to pick injectors is to make sure they outflow your turbo ideally
if you were to pull the wastegate hose off the actuator on greens you would melt the engine, if you did the same on 55s you wouldnt
it will drive very well on 55s, P8 is closed loop as standard. fuelling will be at lambda 1 on cruise, and in the 11s at 32psi.
you will need, a large intercooler, a uprated 023 fuel pump, a large free flow exhaust, and cool plugs as a minimum,
i truely belive this is THE best road going cosworth spec there is. i ran it for years

it is an lovely conversion, but your motor needs to be in tip top shape aswell as your turbo as it will be hitting near 2.0+ bar of boost
It was a noticebly difference from moving from greens to 55lb siemens and closed loop setup the car was smooth and just pulled real hard between 3.5 to 6k where the boost started to tail-off a tad the best is the mpg when cruising you'll be shocked at the mpg as i was it used half the amount of fuel on way home and i wasn't being shy either.
but like i said you need a tip motor and all the other bits to go with it if you want the conversion to be rewarding
1 things is you will need to kind to the gearbox at this level as it will be on borrowed time if you are rough, i was luckily enough to buy a car with a Gordon Spooner Group A gearbox in it so had some peace of mind and the car still is running 100% some 2 yrs after i sold it (do really miss that car)

thats one thing i was slightly concerned about, its a BT escos with 75k on the engine, turbo and gearbox, well looked after with oil changes etc but it has only done about 150 miles in the last 3 years, it has however only been a stage 1 its whole life.

not until it dies, the car will only get used in good weather and im not a hard driver i just want the better economy and it will be nice to know the power is there when i want it, im more concerned about it dying as soon as i do the conversion and give it some for the first time or if it should still last a while

It's awesome conversion! Ran it on my westfield.
Have a L8 with Msd chip and coil pack conversion for sale actually. (have converted to pectel T6 now).
All someone would need is the 55lb injectors. It's for standard engine and a 4x4 cooler setup

Why does having a Big Turbo Escort mean yopu dont need it ??
That doesnt make sense as the car has a lambda sensor as standard.
You can have bigger boost and good emissions and save money !
Gone are the days of Amhed after burner smoking exhausts

Tony, sorry, it was mearly a bit of humour..do you remember that or did the wife have that too ?
ALso, the L6 is fully capable of preventing smoking overuns if you know what you are doing.

i had that conversion on my sierra, level 8, coil pack, closed loop, 55lb injectors for t35.63 housing
the car was quick but was only running 22psi so not even full boost for the map
what i didnt like is if you were to ever sell the chip thereworthless 2nd hand and i was lucky to get 150 for a chip that cost me close to Ł500 or Ł600

The P8 comes with closed loop as standard so we dont charge extra on the P8.
We also use the P8s closed loop boost control so the package gives a little better midrange torque on teh P8 than the L8.
10% discount on the whole kit to anyone on here who buys the conversion or any parts of it that include a chip before 5pm on Friday.
