Looks amazing but what's with the backwards engine arrangement? Intake and exhaust reversed?

I would imagine he paid ZERO for the exhaust.....

so going back and moaning when Hayward and Scott havent had alot of publicity like he probably promised them is gonna be hard to do!

I am just guessing though!

wrong, i paid about £750 for it and the turbo hanger...

and ended up with the paint scratched off the boot - possibly from where it was pushed around by someone wearing a ring as it of course didnt drive back then, paint scrapes down the passenger side door where it looks like they have opened the door into the 2 post ramp...

a screamer pipe that means i cannot get get full lock to the left as the passenger side wheel hits it, poor fit of the down pipe, and poor fit of the middle section to rear end...

and £750 is not cheap for an exhaust!

i also have pics of the car from earlier in that morning as i picked it up from pro alloy and took it straight to hayward and scott. i also paid for the pro alloy stuff too in case you wondering!

I get the theory but I guess in practice it's taken longer to put together than if you just used a YB in a three door body? Looks really nice. I'm impressed anyway.

Maybe should I have written my question out in full: "what was the rationale behind deciding to use a Zetec with turbo rather than going for a YB?"

I'm interested.

i know about zetecs, i dont know much about the YB lol

also its different. and you can buy a whole 2.0l zetec for about £100 if it goes tits up, and you cant get a yb for that.

ok the yb would be stronger etc, but most heads have been skimmed past their best etc and parts are mega money

the zetec is also smaller, and lighter and can make good power
