Could be an air lock? Unsure if these have a bleed nipple or not. Try running the engine, take the rad cap off and pump the hoses with your hand to try and get any air shifted.

When you turn the heater control does the cable on the heater valve move? In case the cable has snapped?

Near the bulk head theres a little control box with 2 pipes going into it and 2 pipes coming out. It'll be that I'm almost sure, common problem and all that.

i get all three stages of heat control but no heat got to be a air lock but why is the rad not fully getting hot only one side where the bleed pipe is .??

we have changed to switch / complete heater control panel one at work done the normal valve as you have still no heat,

I take it you lost the heat one day rather than changed the coolant then had no heat.

Are there any signs of the head gasket gone as if there is air getting into the system via the head gasket the air will got the the highest point and the heater pipes are high on ka's.

Take the plug off the heater control valve, stick a multimeter across the pins and get someone to turn the heater dial in the car. This will help you rule out a faulty dial, i've had this problem before.
