mk4 escort 2 door estate
what is one of these worth,i might be getting one at the
end of the month,it looks quite a clean one so if i do get
it i will be stripping my erst and putting everything straight
into the estate

r the doors the same size as mine does anybody know,the car
belongs to one of my cousins mates she works with and i can

just finding my feet
i had one for a while ages ago, payed 300 quid for it
but now it depends on condition, mine was black with NON tinted windows
red ones are now the only ones left thatb ya find in good condition
remember the cabrios are just reworked escort estates so the parts of them are east to find and the doors are the same as a 3door escort

if i get it im going to leave it the pale blue with the textured
black bumpers just lowered with 17s to start of with,will give
the boy racers round my area a bit of a shock,am going to
get it sprayed black when i get the money,the girl that owns
it only wants Ł100 for it so i cant pass it up really can i

the good thing is i will b able 2 get rid of the abs when i change
it over,the only thing that might give it away a bit will be the
discs all round and the exhaust note

same wheel base as a normal escort but instead of hatchback
its got the longer roof and one piece back door,maybe sumone

they all have the same wheel base 
, even the orion hasd the same wheel base they just welded a extra bit on the boot and wacked a tail pipe trim on it aswell

how easy is it to change the whole wiring loom,me and
my mate r going to try and hav everything from my erst
into the estate and hopefully running by the sunday evening
of the weekend were doing it on,we will start doing it on the
saturday morning,my dads going to go mad
cause
me and mate r both bringing our toolboxes home and
putting them in my kitchin for the weekend while we
do the car

sounds like a good idea,woul i b better of just dropping the whole
engine and suspension out of the bottom,it should be possible
to get the whole lot done in a weekend shouldnt it,i think the worst
bit is going to be the fuel lines cause ive got to do it in my back
garden so will have to lay on the grass or try and find a big sheet to
put down on the floor

what rad should i use,im running a saab turbo which hasnt
got a water feed on it so i dont need the pipes that r on the
erst rad so will the estate rad be up to the job

yeh thats going to be the worst bit getting the tank and pump out
and the fuel lines aswell,so i wont be able to use the rad from the
estate then,i wont be using the standard erst intercooler though so
will that make a difference

is that how long the estate rad is then,ive got a single pass intercooler
which just fits inbetween the bumper mountings so i hav to modify the
front panel for the intercooler to fit

oh right so i might be able to squeeze the inter cooler pipes through
ive done that on my car at the moment on the o/s and the pipe comes
into the engine bay just above the alternator,i would be best to use the
erst rad then and try and move it a bit more central that way it will allow
a bit more cool air to the air filter

This was the 1 i was gunna do as a track car!
Sold to a m8, who did a load on it & then he sold it to another m8 who is ZT'in now!
Was a mk3 shell & Damo V did a boat load of work on many years ago to convert it to a mk4! smoothed out the rear panel so no bumper needed! then some1 smoothed in a set of S1 arches!
