Default Where is the engine number on a 200 series block located?

As title really, where abouts on the 200 series cosworth block is the actual engine number?

If its a 2wd with a 200 block fitted, it more than likly hasnt got an engine number

Though if not i think its on the left hand side of the block as you look at the car (trying to think now when i pu the engine in my car )

Doug, so that would be at the back of the block on the drivers side as it sits in the bay yeah?

Do you know a short slim guy called Sean, normally covered in much and always building something mad, as he reckoned he knew you (assuming you have a red escos and used to have a saph)

Chip, I changed the picture so that it is easier to see.............
Drivers side of block, at the rear of the engine - directly under the end the exhaust manifold (end stud).

Yeah, I know Sean (we all call him "Ralph").......because he smells a lot Very intellegent chap and a good bloke - works at Audi's 4 U ????
