Std result, plod don't want justice, they want CONVICTIONS who against they don't care, it looks good to the public, unfortunately courts have always relied on who can tell the most convincing story where there is no other evidence that they want to listen to.
I should have been banned recently for driving on wrong side of road directly at a plod car, I was doing 80-90 plod was doing "in excess of 100mph", 13 witnesses(9 plod) and video evidence but I walked after 15 minutes, the judge refused to run the case due to identity, the driver was wearing a balaclava so couldn't be identified it of course wasn't me but they were trying to do me for it.
Best advice I ever got from a bent in a good way copper was keep your gob shut and say nothing ever, have amnesia.

duty solicitors are as bent as a nine pound note and the crooked police that push you into using them deserve to rot in hell imo.
nothing makes me happier than when a judge, bent copper,magistrate,council officiaL etc gets fucked over for being naughty,its very nice to watch the police get rid of their own when they just can't get the guilty bent copper out of shit so they cut them loose to save themselves.
i honestly have had some coppers lie through there teeth to me and i would have to say if you ever get accused of somthing you need to lie to get out of it because some coppers will without question unfortunately.
judges make examples of people they think need teaching a lesson,if you turn up in court wearing a pair of tracky bottoms and a fila hoody with your hands down your boxers and sneer at everyone your gonna have them think you play the system and don't care so whats the point and if your on the dole fuckin great thats the best way of not paying a fine cos you have no proof of income exept a giro which goes on dope/phone/bevvy slags and fags,how you gonna pay for your crime when theres fuck all left.

BUT, they could be on there because he was trying to stop himself been stabbed. I.e. grabs the knife.
Also, if he did actually stab him, you'd imagine he'd take it with him?

I'm assuming as no other comments or replies have been made from the originator, that the prints of his convicted friend were found on the handle of the knife and not the blade. If this is the case then he must of had hold of the knife at some point. It would be impossible to merely knock the knife out of attacker 2's hand (while he was holding it by the handle) and get your prints on it. I think that this statement is what probably got him convicted.
His prints must of been on the handle in such a way that it would indicate he had held or gripped the handle rather thean a smudged prints indicating knocking it.
I'm sure he did not start the trouble, this along with no previous convictions are what got him a lesser sentence.
I think he has been very lucky.

The law is totally biased and in favour of the criminal not the victim as i have found out first hand. Luckily in my case CPS saw sense and all charges against me were dropped but it is a worrying time when you are waiting to find out whats going to happen.

you see this is what happens when a society is rebuilt on individual rights over the needs of society as a whole.
Anyone with half a brain can see the interests of society as a whole are not being met with lots of these prosecutions. Criminal rights?? they shouldnt fucking have any.
