looks and sounds effortless mate ,would it be any quicker to 130 without the drag of the 4wd or would you be spinning wheels up to 70/80
cheers james
it would definiteley be spinning mate, its losing traction in the vid in second gear, it doesnt stop transfering power to the front til up into fourth gear.
For reference, you know it takes a Honda Integra Type-R about 40 seconds to do 30-130??!! I think a Ferrari 360 takes about 18 seconds or something like that.
Which, again, makes sense, because I think it's a fair assumption that you'd have more trouble getting off the line than Gary does, but more power to the wheels made up for it. Times are almost identical.
The first year we did it with 600bhp, thinking we were going to be right up there, Gary managed a paltry 14 seconds.
Turned out to be that we had the gearing slightly wrong. Better gearing and only a little more power saw a sub 10 second run. The MLR event is in about a months time, will be interesting to see what it does this year. A sub 8 would be nice, since we are hoping for to up to 700bhp on pump fuel and high 700's on race fuel.
Remember that Norris is 5.* and Andrew Mercer was in the 6's IIRC.

I would say that 10 seconds is about right for 30-130, although it is highly dependant on gearing.
Gary does it in around 8 seconds with 650-700bhp Evo 7 and Ross (Evo 6) is in the 7's with a smidgen more power.
im on standard gearbox and diffs about 193 mph at limiter 8000 rpm in 5th.
gearbox was sounding and feeling proper rough but some heavyweight shockproof gear oil has sorted it. gearchanges are slick smooth now even at 8000 rpm
