Default handling probs...

had the bottom arms/ tca changed on my 2wd saf and it now handles shit!
understeers at any corner. had the tracking done as a matter of course. spoke to someone that said i must fit proper ford compliance bushes as the non ford items i fitted as part of the bottom arm will be heavy duty which is wrong? should they me just normal ones as only the diesls should have heavy duty?
my front tyres are now tottally worn on the inside edge after only 2k on the new arms.....did over 6k o the old setup with an even wear pattern??

also got a knock from the back left that only used to happen somtimes but now happens everytime i go over a bump, round a corner go on or come off boost...doing my head in. had a look for the obvious but nothing standing out. anyone any thoughts on any of my probs??
cheers in advance

Sounds like they've fitted the wrong TCA's to me mate

I've used the big doughnut bushes in my cossie rather than the std ford ones with no probs, so it wont be that

Neil.

Who told you that?

Go back and tell them to stop being silly and give you the correct parts

ok will double check parts numbers and get the proper ones...anyone got the proper part numbers to hand??

AVA did all the tunning work on my car and the pistons are to their spec.
my car made 289.7 at the wheels holding only 20.9 psi.
spec is stage3 t34, greens, pro alloy cooler, bailey breather, standard airbox and filter
not really had a chance to try it out on new spec since the roads..sorry private test track up here in bonnie scotland have been generally too wet/covered in ice/grit to risk it.
had it wheels spinning in 4th at 120 on some ice then decided to leave it to another day!
any idea about the bump/knocking i mention in my first post
?
cheers boys

Sorry mate - my copy of microcat says that they're Non-Serviced. I'm sure they're available - just make sure he orders the right ones!

290 must be pretty damn fast - my stage 1 was 200 @ wheels (4x4) on their rollers

when my car was stage one it made 225 holding 15psi, then it was 265 with my spec now but 4x4 cooler then by adding less than 2 psi and a pro alloy 500 cooler it made its 290. had it out today and had a bit of a moment on the motorway....new shape integra type r pulled along side so i dropped it to 4th and floored it(bad move) back end stepped out, not alot but enough to make you go oh shit when you going about 80! lol
thanks for you r help anyway neil...any idea about the knock i mentioned in my first post?
when were you up here in scotland?
