Its folks coming on here slagging off a business, tarnishing its reputation, than not being willing to back it up with the actual facts.

Why is that so difficult to understand?

Its like me taking an advert out in the local newspaper claiming your missis is a total fucking whore, and not giving any reasons

The problem is it must be hard for all these people trying to slag off a guy who builds the very best cosworths in the uk when they know fine well he is better than them.

The proof is in the pudding. (Or the Focuses)

Was this the sump issue, where it was slightly distorted? I believe I resolved this to your full satisfaction and is no more worth mentioning than the long stud issue that you had with Mark causing gasket failure? Both were resolved at no cost to yourself I believe, so hardly a "problem" on either count .

Hi Mike

It was not a gasket failure at all so please correct your records

It was a small seal around one of the long studs that leaked oil into water which mark correct at no extra cost to me

Cheers

So no more or less of a problem than the aforementioned sump "problem" that you were trying to make out was an issue with SCS?

Dave ...

If those seals leak then water can get into the oil, not the other way round!

You're talking shit - my car hasn't leaked a DROP of oil in the last 12 months .

Nor has it used a drop of fuel either - perfect Cosworth IMO .

Would that have something to do with the fact it hasn't been used in that time??

Personally, I would only take my Cosworth to one of the well known Cosworth specialists, as they will know all the foibles of these and be able to set it up to the best of it's ability. In my experience, taking it to a "Jack of All Trades Tuner" (Master of none ) is more costly in the long run. Do it right and pay once, do it wrong and pay for it forever .

Is this Nick Lawrence? I think I've seen him on another forum, though I got the impression he just did OBD based mapping 'on the road outside his house' as he put it

What happened to mr rs500 that cant string a sentance together? He seems to be very unwilling to put up his side of the story? Obviously his engine failure has been down to himself and dont want everyone to know...

Dave you were quick to say you had a problem but when mike stated the exact facts you didnt even have the decency to answer him?
