Default Trade Plates

I'm looking at buying a car with no tax or mot and was wondering would a set of trade plates cover to drive it home?

so long as you have insurance and dont stop off anywhere except private property then yes it will be fine

book it in for an mot somewhere and you are allowed to drive it legal loophole i beleive.ade from one of the ford mags did it when he bought an xr2 of someone on here it was in the mag and he drove it from london to scotland if i remember right.

Trade plates only cover the holder of the plates in the course of their own business, so if you don't have your own you aren't covered.
